Safari Print Covers This Upcoming Nike Air Max 90

Safari Print Covers This Upcoming Nike Air Max 90

The year is coming down to its last couple of weeks and the Nike Air Max 90 is capping off a disappointing 25th anniversary. Hopefully in 2016 we’ll be seeing more new colorways release of the Tinker Hatfield-designed runner.
Nike is expected to release the Air Max 90 you see above with the popular safari print all throughout the upper. But since the majority of the sneaker is black and the safari print is also black, the print isn’t very noticeable unless you take a close look at the shoe. A nubuck mudguard combines with white detailing on the midsole, and branding on the tongue and heel to provide some contrast. Finishing up the look on this Air Max 90 is a gum outsole. Also at the moment these are believed to be a women’s release, so if any of the guys are feeling this shoe then hopefully you’re able to fit into the bigger women’s sizes. No word yet on whether they’ll release before the end of the year.
What are your thoughts on this safari printed Air Max 90? Do you plan on picking up a pair when they arrive at retailers?

More Than Just Basketball: LeBron Gives Game-Worn Sneakers to Special Olympian NBA Yesterday LeBron James made headlines for something other than his usual extraordinary play on the court. Aside from stating that he doesn’t know who Under Armour is (come on Bron we know that you’re very familiar with Steph and his sneakers), he also had a really touching moment during the game in Boston yesterday. During halftime in yesterday’s game the Celtics recognized Special Olympian Aaron Miller, who was at the game, for winning MVP at a recent Special Olympics competition in the city. Miller, 16, reportedly was born with severe brain damage and was told by doctors he would be physically and mentally paralyzed for life. But after “thousands of hours” of surgery and physical therapy, he competes on his school’s golf and basketball teams. After the teams came out of the half LeBron James walked over to Miller and greeted him with a hug and co...

Get Festive with This Nike Air Max 90 Christmas

Get Festive with This Nike Air Max 90 Christmas With an array of festive sneakers releasing this month, another notable standout consists of this Nike Air Max 90 Christmas edition. Listed as a women’s iteration, the classic runner is essentially defined by the application of a candy cane print adorning its upper. The red and white colorway certainly coordinates with the holidays, as the theme is further continued with green accents adorning the tongue tab and inner lining. Furthermore, luxury enhancements are evidenced with gold hits gracing the rear, side panels and lace tips. Emulating a present-like theme as well, the laces consist of red ribbons to wrap up its eye-catching design. All resting atop a clean White midsole unit and translucent outsole with multicolor speckling, you can find this variation at select Nike accounts this weekend.
